DRUMMOND STREET NEIGHBOURHOOD DESIGNER

Join us in transforming THE ALLEYWAYS OF Drummond Street and help make a lasting impact on your local community

We're seeking passionate Neighbourhood Designers from the Euston area to participate in a series of Camden Green Loop workshops. Together, we'll bring light, colour, and creativity to the underpasses along Drummond Street, making the area safer and more vibrant for the community.

Your Role

We need people who are passionate about Euston and the local community to help us to design public interventions which brighten up the entrances to Drummond Street and help residents feel safe.

You'll collaborate on the design of murals, lighting, and public artwork that will be implemented at key locations:

  • Foundry Mews

  • Tolmers Square

  • Exmouth Mews

  • George Mews

  • Charles Place

Neighbourhood designers should be proactive in sharing their lived experience of using public spaces and contribute their personal and professional perspectives. They should be willing and ready to work with our design experts and where necessary be open to adjusting their proposals to become viable but ambitious solutions.

Your local knowledge will help generate creative concepts that can be transformed into real, impactful improvements.

REIMBURSEMENT: £13.85 per hour (London Living Wage) + travel expenses

Key Attributes:

No formal qualifications are required for this role, but you should:

  • Live or work in or near Euston, with a passion for the local community.

  • Be 16 years old or older.

  • Be willing to represent your community by sharing your personal experiences and insights about living in the area.

  • Be open to participating in group discussions with other participants, led by Euston Town and industry experts.

Type of Contract: Fixed-term part-time position

Reimbursement: Appointed Neighbourhood Designers will be reimbursed at £13.85 per hour in reflection of the hours they have contributed to be able to participate in the programme as well as travel expenses

Commitment: To attend 3 Camden Green Loop workshops (dates tbc)
